Paris 2024 will see the 18th time Hong Kong athletes taking part in the Summer Olympics. Being qualified for the Olympics is truly a goal for many athletes. This time, we are thrilled to see, among the qualified athletes, nearly half are making their Olympic debut. No matter what results they are going to achieve in the upcoming Games, they will be an Olympian for the rest of their life. As much as we do, they should be very proud of how far they have walked in their athlete careers. As an Olympic Committee, we are going full steam ahead to provide the necessary support to the Hong Kong, China Delegation, ensuring our athletes will perform their best to compete with the world’s top athletes on the big stage of the Paris Olympics. It is their time to rise and shine, showcase their excellence to the world and bring glory to their families and the city. Competing in the Olympic Games is an experience like no other.
